By using Fruitly, you agree to these terms. Fruitly uses AI to identify fruit for informational and educational use only. Results are estimates and are not a substitute for expert food safety, medical or dietary advice. You must be at least 13 to use the App, keep your account secure, and not misuse it. Purchases are handled through Apple. Fruitly is provided “as is,” and most disputes are resolved through individual arbitration.

Fruitly collects the data needed to identify fruit and improve the App, including your scans, search history, account details, device data and, if you allow it, your location. Images are deleted after processing unless you save them or allow them to be used for AI improvement. We do not sell your personal data. You can access, correct or delete your data at any time.

Fruitly works with trusted providers, such as cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, Google’s Gemini AI, Apple payments, and Apple, Google and Meta sign-in. Each provider receives only the data it needs for its job and cannot sell it, use it for ads, or use it for its own purposes.

You control whether your scans are used to improve Fruitly’s recognition models, and you can turn this on or off at any time in Consent Settings. Camera, photo, location and notification permissions are managed in your device settings. Turning off a setting only affects the features that need it.

Fruitly uses AI, currently Google’s Gemini, to identify fruit varieties and estimate ripeness. Results are estimates and cannot detect spoilage, contamination or allergens, so always check a fruit yourself before eating it. We do not use facial recognition or collect biometric data. Using your scans to improve our models is optional.
