Certain features in Fruitly depend on your explicit permission. By granting consent, you allow the App to process limited data to provide improved functionality and user experience. Camera Access: Needed to capture or upload fruit images for scanning.
Account & Authentication Data: Used for secure login and verification.
Basic Analytics (Anonymous): Helps us maintain system stability and detect technical issues.
These permissions are necessary for Fruitly to operate and cannot be disabled individually.
b. Optional Permissions (User-Controlled)
Performance & Usage Analytics: Allows us to collect anonymous statistics to improve accuracy and usability.
Personalization: Enables saving preferences such as language, fruit categories, and scan history.
Push Notifications: Allows delivery of updates, new features, and promotional offers.
Third-Party Integrations: Includes Google or Apple sign-in, or other partner services.

How to Manage or Withdraw Consent
You may review and change your consent preferences at any time in Settings → Consent Settings within the App.
Withdrawing consent for certain optional data uses (such as analytics or notifications) will immediately disable those features but will not affect data already processed before withdrawal.
If you revoke required permissions (e.g., camera access), certain features may become partially or fully unavailable.
You may also delete your account to revoke all data processing and remove stored personal information.
Fruitly processes personal data only under a valid legal basis, which may include:

Fruit recognition may become less accurate or fully unavailable without camera access.
Notifications, saved preferences, or usage analytics improvements may no longer function.
Some third-party login or storage services (e.g., Google Drive, iCloud) may disconnect automatically.
Deleting your account removes your personal data but may leave anonymized analytics that cannot identify you.
Fruitly maintains a timestamped record of your consent preferences (and any subsequent changes) to comply with applicable laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA. These records are securely stored and used solely to demonstrate lawful data processing.
