  1. Our Commitment

  1. Our Commitment

Fruitly is committed to making our website and app accessible to people with disabilities. We consider accessibility in our design and development process and keep improving it over time.

  1. Scope

  1. Scope

This statement applies to the Fruitly website (fruitly.app) and the Fruitly mobile app.

  1. Standards & Current Status

  1. Standards & Current Status

  • We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

  • The Fruitly website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This means some parts of the website do not yet fully meet the standard. See Known Limitations below.

  1. What We Do

  1. What We Do

  • Add descriptive alternative text to images.

  • Maintain sufficient color contrast for text.

  • Design pages so they can be navigated with a keyboard.

  • Set the page language and use clear link text.

  • Review pages with automated accessibility tools and screen readers.

  1. Known Limitations

  1. Known Limitations

  • Contact form: fields have visible labels, but the labels are not programmatically linked to the input fields due to a limitation of our website platform. Screen reader users may hear fields announced without their labels.

  • Page landmarks: header, main and footer regions are not explicitly defined due to a platform limitation. This may make navigation harder for some screen reader users.

  • Repeated links: some automated tools may flag repeated links caused by our responsive layout. These links work as expected.

  • Third-party content: some third-party services, such as sign-in screens from Apple, Google or Meta, are controlled by those providers and may not fully meet accessibility standards.

We are working to fix these issues where our platform allows.

  1. Mobile App

  1. Mobile App

The Fruitly app is designed for iOS, and we are working to support built-in iOS accessibility features such as VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion.

  • Some screens, including the camera scanner, may be harder to use with assistive technology. If you need help identifying a fruit or accessing information in the app, contact us.

  1. Feedback & Alternative Formats

  1. Feedback & Alternative Formats

If you find an accessibility barrier, or need information in another format, email fruitlyvibin@gmail.com or use our contact page.

  • Please tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you were using.

  • We aim to respond within 5 business days.
